Salary Cuts
All employees should be cut the same regarding salaries and benefits. There are employees whether blue or white collar doing more then one job. Fairness and teamwork during this time counts for a lot. So far the Police and FF's are not team players, thanks partially to the City Council. Don't penalize just higher paid employees either which is what the Council will probably propose, they are part of the economy also.

This is beginning to grow old. Police and fire are taking the same reduction in pay as the rest of the city. The council decided for 3.5% cuts across the board, this includes police and fire. It is hard for everyone and that burden has already been shared by public safety employees. Let's move on to something that is factual so we can come up with some realistic solutions.
